Members from the Rock Hill Fire Department completed a vehicle
extrication class held at the fire house in May. Special thanks to Instructors John

The Rock Hill Volunteer Fire Department recently sent two teams
to Transit Lanes in Buffalo to bowl in the 51st Annual NYS Volunteer Firefighters
Bowling Tournament. Our Guest bowler, Vinnie Collura, scored a fantastic 847 3-game
series during the event.

The group spent the weekend in Niagara Falls and a great time was had by all.
At 0553hrs on 4/12/08 Station 27 was dispatched to a single
car MVA with entrapment. Upon arrival it was determined that the vehicle was on its
roof and there was one victim unconscious inside. The victim was removed from the
vehicle with the assistance of RHVAC and Mobilemedic. Due to thunderstorms in the
area medivac's were grounded and the patient was transported to the local hospital).
